Memorable Entertainment

The Raging Asian Women Taiko Drummers (RAW) will bring their own brand of heat to the evening. A community arts collective of East and Southeast Asian Women in Toronto, the Taiko drumming group challenges, redefines and inspires their audiences.

Delicious Food and Wine

One of Toronto’s coolest catering companies, The Food Dudes will provide tasty nibbles throughout the evening. We’re also thrilled that Barefoot Wines will be joining us as our wine sponsor and Burdock Brewery will be serving tastings of their latest craft brews.

Purchase a Krama Scarf

The tradition of wearing the distinctive krama scarf dates back at least as far as the ancient Angkor period.  Made from cotton and silk and commonly found in red and white or blue and white check, they are worn to provide protection from sun, dust, wind, cold and rain, wound around heads, necks, shoulders or hips. Wherever you are in Cambodia you will see them wrapped, knotted, slung casually over the shoulder or worn as turbans. Purchased from Prolung Khmer, a pottery and weaving training centre that provides livelihood training to marginalized women,  a limited amount of krama scarves are available this evening. Your $40 will go directly towards on-the-ground support in Cambodia.

One lucky purchaser will also win a dinner for six at Rasa. Enjoy and bring your own wine to a eight-course tasting menu, including dessert. Rasa redefines the concept of a neighbourhood restaurant with exceptional food, friendly and polished service, great music and creative design. Valued at $360.
